I author test strategies at enterprise level, design and ship custom automation frameworks, leading SDET teams through high-stakes programmes. My engagements span financial services, insurance, automotive finance, retail and aviation — with a track record of converting test capability into commercial results.

I'm fluent in multiple programming languages, and an expert across Waterfall, Agile, DevOps and CI/CD environments.

Enterprise IT distributor

Two parallel platform migrations

100+ regression defects intercepted pre-production via a custom C#/Playwright cross-system automation framework spanning multiple integrations across two now-live programmes.

Led end-to-end testing across both: a CRM migration replacing a legacy ERP, and an item-master migration introducing a new global product information platform. Authored the test strategy across both programmes, coordinating a team of 3 on the CRM project and operating as sole tester on the item programme.

Captive automotive finance lender

Integration Layer test capability

From 2 weeks to under 10 minutes — manual regression compressed via 170+ automated scenarios delivered through a NuGet-packaged C# framework with full CI/CD assurance gates.

Designed a two-layer architecture separating the reusable framework from the test layer, and built data-driven tests that pulled live vehicle data from the catalogue at runtime. Trained internal manual testers in C# automation alongside.

Audit-defensible governance across 8 finance systems and 9 projects, supporting the launch of a brand-new US underwriting entity operating across all 50 states.

Defined the test strategy across the finance system landscape and introduced a release management approach that reduced production incidents. Led a small specialist team through delivery.

Built custom frameworks for Azure resources, REST APIs and front-end UIs. Most of the work was making sure new and prototype features could withstand live demos to investors and prospects.

Cards & Open Banking transformation

92% reduction in delivery lead cycle time across the Cards and Open Banking commercial engineering team through Scrum optimisation, CI/CD adoption and continuous-improvement coaching.

Built in-house automation frameworks for Web, API and Azure Cloud. Used service virtualisation to keep automation atomic, and pushed CI/CD adoption via Terraform and YAML pipelines.

Major UK aviation operator (via Tier 1 systems integrator)

Estate-wide Test Guild & offshore delivery model

10-year, £40m contract extension — pioneered the onshore/offshore workforce model and founded an estate-wide Test Guild, adopted as the mandated standard across 50+ vendor teams.

Defined the Agile test policy governing multiple consultant vendors, established a single set of standards (web/API/mobile frameworks, IaC API pattern library), and led the integrator’s internal Community of Practice for DevOps and Automation.

BETT Award winner (2016) — testing for a suite of EdTech mobile apps that went on to win the UK industry’s flagship award.
